Title 2 - Department Organisation

(A) Department of Anomalistic Studies (DAS)

The Department of Anomalistic Studies is responsible for conducting and recording tests on various entities, either by Initiative order or through external contracting.

(B) Facility Operations Department (FOD)

The Facility Operations Department is responsible for providing essential logistics, repair and engineering consultation to Research and Security organs as required.

(C) Integrity and Assurance Department (IAD)

The Integrity and Assurance Department is one of 2 enforcement entities within the Initiative, supported by the Montag Constable Service. They are responsible for updating, enforcing and teaching the Articles of Conduct and other legislative documentation.

(A) Security Department (SD)

The Security Department is responsible for providing general security around the site, as well as safeguarding, escorting and protecting the interests, assets and persons of the Initiative. Security Members are immune to weaponry laws within any legislative document outside of the Internal Guidelines.

(A1) Montag Constable Service (MCS)

MCS is another enforcement body within VRI. They conduct specialist duties, including the protection of executive and major events. They also carry out armed enforcement of laws.

(A2) Specialised Operations Corps (SOC)

The Specialised Operations Corps is the elite division of the Security Department. With enhanced tools and permission, they are the first ones to answer when a riot occurs. 

(B) Joint Armed Forces (JAF)

JAF are the more elite version of SD, with specialist task-forces that allow them to be a formidable force in any situation where they are needed.

(B1) Crisis Response Force (CRF)

The Crisis Response Force is the main combative division of the JAF. Often called in as a last resort, these brave soldiers are also responsible for safeguarding the military checkpoint.

(B2) Anomaly Response Unit (ARU)

The Anomaly Response Unit is the recontainment unit of VRI. Often called in during Virus Outbreaks or Anomaly Breaches, these soldiers are equipped with the finest and most modern equipment.

(A) Administrative Hierarchy

Entry-Level Access >> General Access >> Enchanced Access >> Executive Access  >> Director  >>  Operations Manager  >>  Operations Director  >>  Initiative Directors

Ranks marked in bold are considered members of the Executive Council, and are therefore allowed to vote in proposals, among other things.

Departments are required to have their Executive Access (high command) rank have a maximum occupancy of 4. There must be one Director per department.

(A) Members of Departmental Command (defined as any member holding Enhanced Access or higher) are subject to inspections by the IAD without prior notice.

(B) Unless prior negotiated and authorised by the Operations Director, no person holding Enhanced Access and above may be a participant in any Intelligence Agencies.

(C) Members of the Executive Council are prohibited from doing any of the following:

• Using their power for reasons that would be considered 'abuse of power' by a reasonable person.

• Engaging in hostile actions towards VRI, including attempts to discredit VRI based on falsified or exaggerated information.

(D) It is the expectation that members of the Executive Council do all of the following:

• Participate in administrative duties (making and voting on proposals, attending meetings, etc)

• Avoid having affiliations (direct or indirect) with any group or person that is considered a threat to VRI.

• Enable Two Factor Authentication on Roblox, Discord and Google.

E) It is the responsibility of department high command to request a background check on any individual pending promotion into any of the following positions:

• Executive Access (BG Check must be requested by Department Director)

• Integrity Assurance Department Intern

• Records Analyst 

• System Integrity Analyst 

• Technical Associate

If someone is put in one of these positions before IAD has notified command that they passed their BG Check, the department's command will be subject to punishment.
